No possibility to fix this for me until now. So if I use any other app or the finder the trackpad will work one way, but if I use Chrome, it works just the opposite. Beyond Sanjampet's links and my post, I have only one other thought, which is that it's an OS and/or trackpad compatibility issue. Right not it feels like there is a grain of sand under the front left corner (away from the keyboard, right where you would "left-click").
