But here is how you encrypt a spreadsheet that requires a Passwork to open: Go to "File" tab Go to "Info" ribbon Select "Protect Workbook" button Select "Encrypt with Password" selection If there are formulas to manipulate the data in your workbook and the formulas call for data from hidden rows and columns, then deleting that information will cause incorrect result.
