I am a newbie on Lenovo z570 with Geforce 520M. The ctrl+alt+f1 did not work for me. I've done a ton of independent research on my laptop and have come to the conclusion that, for one reason or another, Ubuntu doesn't realize that the function key (fn) is Your asus-touchpad.sh script should be working after the restart.

Whenever i click suspend, black screen comes for 5-6 seconds, then again login page appears. Now the splash screen should show up. My computer is Samsung NP-R509. I`am good with windows but not an expert in Linux!
